Criticism out the way first:
- When I arrived the wax hadn't been heated up properly, so the whole session took longer than it should have done because we had to wait for the was to heat.
- The therapist didn't speak much English, which really wasn't a big deal but did make it harder to make clear what I wanted from the brazilian wax.
- There was no tweezing for any small hairs left after the wax which seems standard in most places
But these are mostly small factors - the wax was ultimately pretty good and the therapist lovely. Given the price and location, I would come again.
If you care about your hair — do not go to this salon. I don’t know about other hairdressers, but the one I had (a man with mohawk hair) he was extremely rough and literally ripping hair out of my head. It seemed as if it was his first working day. I had a lot of knots in my hair. He said this is because I need a haircut (my ends are damaged). This may be true, but hairdressers at other salons handled my hair pretty well and they very extra careful with the ends because they may be damaged! And I myself can also comb through my hair without ripping it out of my head and I’m not a hairdresser... The skin on my head literally hurt when I left this salon!!!
