I booked an appointment at 10:30AM with Splitendz as I was travelling that afternoon and wanted to refresh my haircut before being on a plane for many hours. Splitendz is far from where I live, but I made the commute because I wanted to try a new salon. On the way to the hair salon, I got a text saying they couldn't do 10:30, but only after 12:30 could I be seen by a stylist. I understand some situations are unprecedented - but because I was already basically there, I still went to the shop, at 10:00AM, mind you, to ask if there was any way I could be squeezed in. There was NOBODY in the shop, but I still very nicely asked if there was an earlier appointment... the blonde lady who I talked to very rudely stated that "We rang you up to tell you you couldn't come here", and basically shooed my friend and I out of the shop when we asked again. Honestly, she could have said no, but the fact that she was so rude practically ruined my whole morning. I can't say anything regarding their haircuts because I ended up going to Gorgie's (I think that's what it's called - THE STAFF WERE VERY FRIENDLY THERE!!! And it was only £26.00 for haircut, blowdry, and wash.. I'm not sponsored or anything by them I'm just trying to help a sister out). BUT yeah, the inside looked clean, it's just that the rudeness of the shop owner makes the place terrible. I hope you're reading this, blonde lady. You were really mean :)
