Even though this salon is in the back of an existing barber's, Grace makes you feel very welcome. It's a shame that the planned refurbishment hasn't yet happened, but I felt like a valued customer as usual and Grace remembered me from my previous visit. It's customer service like this which is sadly lacking in other places, and I hope they get their refurb soon.

Not generally a fan of going to the hairdressers, as I find the small talk a bit awkward and uncomfortable, but I have to say that I really enjoyed my experience. The two ladies there, especially the woman who did my hair, were so lovely and chatty. Just normal and down to earth. I was seen to straight away and constantly checked on re: temperature of the water at the sink, what style I'd like me hair blow dried, how I'd like it cut etc. Really caring but not intrusive. And an hour and a half later, after running around tesco like a mad woman and facing the wind, my hair still looks fab! Thanks so much. Will definitely be back.
