Had a 45-minute back, neck and shoulder massage and it was great. Definitely enough pressure applied to all my knotty bits, my neck and shoulders feel much less tense. Will be going again!
Could hear the occasional bit of movement from the nail salon downstairs but to be honest I was there for a proper massage rather than a quiet spa experience so it didn't bother me at all.
In terms of finding it, I went into Elegance Nails and asked one of the ladies, who was very nice and directed me to the waiting area.
As always, Onay was great. The Swedish massage was wonderful - slightly less intense than a Deep Tissue, and very relaxing, but still did my muscles the world of good!
This was a return visit and equally brilliant this time around. I went for a sports massage, so not really for relaxation and it worked wonders for my aches and general stiffness. This is a real find, will definitely return.
I'll start with the good: massage therapist was very good technique & My muscles did feel less tight by the end.
Now the not so good: This is one room above a nail salon. It was loud during the massage because the nail technicians were on break, chatting loudly at the base of the stairs. It was not relaxing. It was also cold. No insulation or heat in the room, and despite the two space heaters it was chilly. The music, while somewhat calming, was the same song on repeat the whole time. The space also felt pretty dirty. Will not be going back.
