Everyone was nice and friendly, helped me as soon as I walked in and chatted throughout. However, I asked for a short bob haircut and explained how short, pointing to below my ear. After a while, I noticed it looked like the stylist was starting to layer despite my hair still touching my shoulders so I asked if this was the final length and she replied it was. I told her I wanted it much shorter, showing I wanted it just below my ear, so she very kindly said she would cut again and told me not to apologise. However, after another half hour or so I noticed the same thing and asked again if this was the final length despite my hair still being just above my shoulders and she said yes, so I asked her to go shorter. She did respond very nicely again but the hair did not seem to be getting shorter, and after a total of two hours spent in the salon (kudos to her for sticking with it for that long(, she sent me on my way with my hair still more than halfway down my neck and just barely over my shoulders. While I appreciate the time dedicated to my haircut (mind, there wasn't anyone else in the salon at any point as it was in the evening), I felt I did not get what I want. I got the impression the stylist may not have known how to make that cut as I am not sure why else she would not have gone as short as I asked her so I would rather have been told so and not spent my money on a haircut to barely take a two centimetres off my hair.
I was able to compare costs and see if last minute appointment were available - using the Treatwell app was super easy. Best part is the cut is really fabulous and the stylist was amazing. He really made sure throughout the visit that the shape was what I wanted. Really nice people, & great value for money in the heart of Wimbledon. Would totally recommend it!
