Amazing experience. Went with a friend and they accommodated us both at the same time even though i booked the night before!! They answered my email request as soon as i sent it at 10PM!! We were fifteen minutes late and that wasn't even a problem. They werent full on a saturday either which made it less hectic. It was like mini spa day - fantastic! Definitely go with someone if you're thinking about it!!
I went for an organic facial on 13 December 2014. My experience was not pleasant due to the following reasons :
1) I did not get the beautician I requested for. This only came to my attention towards the end of my facial when I asked the beautician for her name. I think this would not have happened if the beautician had introduce herself at the start.
2) After my facial, there were yellow patches on my face. At the paying counter, I asked the beautician what the patches were and she replied, " that's sugar from the scrub". Rather than offering to clean the patches up, the beautician requested for payment with no hesitation.
3) Bad lighting - The room was dark except for a torchlight ( phone) which was placed on a shelf by the wall. I don think the beautician could have seen my face clearly at all. I've been to many facials and there will usually be lamp above my face to assist the beautician to see my face clearly. I'm not sure why this salon doesn't have a lamp.
4) In the span of the 50 minutes facial ( should have been 70 minutes), my face was steamed three times. Each time lasting for about 10 minutes. As such, the time spent on cleansing, extraction, mask, scrub was very very short. The extraction lasted for one minute.
5) Love it that they serve tea before the facial.
6) The towels I used had a weird smell.
This is my first visit and I would not go back again.
Adam gives a brilliant massage and makes me walk out relaxed and ready to face the world again. I've been going to Stratford Salon for a few months now, and haven't found a better place to get a great relaxing service for such a great price.
