That was not a therapeutic massage!! I went in and felt a tad uncomfortable but put that down to the new surroundings and people. I was asked whether I had any injuries etc and then was guided into a room.
The man that was massaging me was nice but wasnt up for the job. He had long nails which poked me a fair few times and when I asked why he was not using oil, he told me that he would apply oil later.
He applied/sprayed olive oil (an absolute minimal amount) and proceeded to "massage" (pull on my skin more like). Once the hour was over he announced 'Massage over sir!' and walked out of the room to attend another client who had a hair appointment.
I think the salon is a nice idea and it may work with the right right attitude. I will not be returning though.
the massage was ok and the salon was in a good place, found the salon easily but the staff were very friendly and helpful i even had a extra treatment i had a haircut the price was reasonable!
Very noisy place, makes it hard to relax becuase of the sounds from the ground floor. Not a very clean place either, also the massage room was alright.
- Finding the venue was difficult as the sign was on the pavement;
- The room was small and cold;
- The masseuse was inexperienced. There was no variety in the movements and I had to guide the masseuse throughout the massage even though my areas of focus were mentioned before starting. I also left feeling sore in some places.
