The staff at this salon are very friendly, welcoming and attentive and the treatments are thorough and good value for money.
I have had 2 facials at this salon. Both times I was greeted on arrival by welcoming, attentive staff. The treatments were carried out in calm, relaxing surroundings by therapists who were friendly and professional. On both occasions I left feeling thoroughly pampered.
Friendly and fast service for first-timer. Made to feel very at ease. A few hairs remained but generally satisfied. thanks.
The venue itself is lovely with period features and furnishings. The treatment rooms are through the back of a boutique fashion store, and they are clean and tidy. The staff are also nice and friendly. While the waxing treatment was good, it wasn't the best I've had - there were quite a lot of hairs missed - and I would put this down to the technique used. I wore paper pants and the lady carrying out the treatment also covered me with a towel, moving it slightly to one side when she wanted to wax the area. To me, this is never going to be conducive to an effective wax because how can you possibly see if you've removed all the hairs in the area. I'm sure some people would appreciate this discrete approach, it's just that I personally felt as though the therapist was almost embarrassed and therefore the wax wasn't very thorough.
