I always thought this place was a men's salon so wasn't sure what to expect. To be honest I only booked because I needed my hair cutting near work and my regular hairdresser couldn't fit me in. The staff are lovely - very friendly, welcoming and chatty and give the time to properly look at hair and listen to what you want. The owner (who cut my hair) had lots of experience in women's hair so don't be out off by the look from the outside. Really like my cut, I'm quite fussy about blow dries so my only criticism was that the blow dry was a little frizzy at the roots and the shape wasn't totally how I like it but I did mention it and they tried to change it back. In summary - don't be put off by the masculine look of the salon and give it a go!

Yes I would recommend studio 12 hairdressing to a friend. The stylist seemed to understand what I was looking for and how to cut my type of hair to get the best result.

I had an all over colour, cut and blow dry and love the results. Really nice experience in the salon with friendly staff who knew what they were talking about. Would definitely go back!

Such a lovely place with really friendly staff. I explained that I was looking for a blow dry for an evening out but didn't want anything too big. They were really attentive and listened to what I said, even giving hair tips along the way. My blowdry came out exactly the way I'd hoped, and I'll definitely be back!
