Overall the experience of the men's haircut was not good. I was waiting nearly 45 minutes for my appointment (I showed up 5 minutes early, so in reality it was more like a 40 minute wait).
Once I had finally been seen by the stylist, it was very clear (even in her own words) that she did not understand English very well and seemed confused (which she told me afterwards) with what I was asking.
The haircut, which I had asked for clippers back and side and trimmed on top, took 1 1/2 hours. During the haircut the stylist was veery rough with the shaver / clippers and thinning scissors, which ultimately left the area around my hairline very sore and red.
Once I had returned home and could look at my cut properly, I saw what she had actually done. She had taken my hairline about 1/2 - 1 inch higher than usually, actually shaving my normally straight hairline at the back into a rounded shape. She had also left large pieces of hair uncut on the top, and thinned out too much in many places. The worst part was at the front, where she had shaved into my hairline to make it appear as though my hairline was nearly 2 inches back from where it usually is.
In fairness, the next day I went in and [I believe] the manager was very attentive and listened to what I had to say, and offered there and then to try and fix the haircut. She did a fantastic job, almost to the point that I couldn't see any of the previous stylist's mistakes.
Overall the experience was not good at all, but the aftercare by the manager was really appreciated and very good.
