I was feeling very sluggish and tired, and struggling to get my energy levels going after a terrible bout of the flu. I had never been for a lymphatic drainage massage before and to be honest was a bit skeptical considering the price as well!! £6 on an original cost of £45 !! Well...I'm really glad I went as this treatment did everything it promised to. It felt like quite the workout, but good at the same time, but I managed this fine since I am generally fit. During the session I drank a litre of water , and afterwards I was drinking water so much which felt great as I have always struggled with drinking water. It's been a week since I went and i am still feeling thirsty, which shows me that the treatment seems to have worked to sort of "reset" my body's natural defence system. The next day after the treatment my entire body was very achy, sort of the aches you get when you haven't been to the gym in a while or when you don't do a proper warm up and cool down. This soreness was present for a good 2 days (ouch!) but it showed me that the massage was very deep and intense. They say massage on the body shaper is the equivalent of an hour done by hand and the way my body was feeling testifies to this. Once the soreness went away I started to feel like a brand new person. I would really encourage anyone who feels tired and drained to try this massage it's truly amazing.
Unfortunately I can't afford to pay for a full 12 weeks of sessions,however , even on one session I feel like I have gained enormous benefits. I will definitely try this again next time I feel like my body needs some help getting better or I have low energy.
The location is good as there is parking outside, and everything is clean and modern looking. Thanks Studio Figura, great job !!
