Very good massage! Booked through treatwell and they weren't expecting me!

From the second I walked in , earlier than my appointment, I was greeted by the loveliest lady who welcomed me and invited me to sit. She greeted me by name, which I wasn't expecting.
There was relaxing music played throughout the building and it smelt of lavender, a smell I've always found relaxing.
I then was asked to remove footwear and was taken to me room which had a huge massage table , dimmed lights, a fan , and the lovely scent of lavender.
My masseuse came and introduced herself and gave me a few minutes and privacy to take off clothing for massage, lie down and cover myself with the towel provided.
She then knocked to see if I was ready, which I was, and begun the massage. I've never had a Thai massage before. She placed the pressure in all the right spots which she asked me to indicate prior and worked the muscles gently as my back really was causing me trouble.
We spoke throughout, she made sure I was comfortable at all times, checking the pressure with me. She was gentle with the around amount of firmness needed for my body ( I do alot of sport).
I must admit I did fall asleep at a few points. I felt a bit embarrassed as I've never fell asleep during massage before!
We came to the end of the session and had a chat about the tougher areas of my body which was nice because it showed genuine concern from them.
By the time I came to leave. Both my masseuse and the lady from reception were ready to say goodbye at the door.
I had a really lovely time there and would recommend to anybody.

Arrived and initially the door was locked and no one answered the door or the phone. When I did get in I understood there was a misunderstanding and none of the staff were aware of my appointment because they don't check the system and the boss was out. However once that was sorted and I showed my confirmation email, the rest of the experience was relaxing. The rooms were clean. There was no music like I've had when getting massages elsewhere but it was quiet. I received a thorough, Thai aromatherapy massage and the knots in my shoulders were dissolved! The massage lasted the full hour and I left feeling like I could breathe and stand better than when I had arrived. I would visit here more often but was only in town for a few days. Thanks so much!

I have a really painful back and the massage really helped with the knots. I was pleasantly surprised.
