** NOT A DISABILITY FRIENDLY BUSINESS**
I am deaf and despite saying this & pointing to my hearing aids, they didn’t understand that I can’t hear.
I booked shellac extensions- they gave me acrylic.
The shape was so horrendous that I nearly burst out crying.
They swapped techs and the shape was improved, but they didn’t seem to understand what a traditional French tip looks like.
After 2 attempts I said to leave it and I’d go elsewhere.
Horrific experience & I burst out crying.
This is a sweatshop production line. I did not get the attendant booked, instead an Asian man who was rude, brusque & barked instructions at me. No booking system here, just a stack of impatient clients. The 45min treatment was completed in 20 mins. I don’t believe the gel had time to cure - it has already started to come off within 24 hours. The UV cure seemed ultra hot and was covered in polish. Everywhere was pretty grubby. Nails were filed after gel curing which breaks the gel seal.
Worst experience ever! The products they used are bad and make me feel sick, strong chemicals! The manicure was basic, not cuticles cleaning whatsoever and shellac was bad!
Great manicure and fab staff. I unfortunately chipped a nail today and the salon took me in and repaired it for me free of charge. Thank you, will definitely be back.
They don’t do manicures so don’t book this- I ended up having to pay £10 extra for gel nails (on top of what I’d already paid), although I’d wanted manicure not shellac as I need to take it off for work straight after the event I booked it for. Unfortunately, as I had booked the appointment for as late as possible before the event to minimise chipping, I couldn’t organise something else in time. The last minute added cost plus hassle of removing made it stressful. The manicure itself was good.
