I booked the Deep Tissue Massage on Sunday 17-5-15 and it was amazing. most of the knobs disappeared after the massage and i felt rejuvenated. will visit again.
Deep Tissue Massage
Having my feet washed before my treatment and a cup of tea made for me afterwards were both very thoughtful, relaxing touches. The location and opening hours are very convenient. For me, the deep tissue massage was very Thai-influenced and simply didn't work as many knots out of my back as I had hoped it would. If you have lots of knots and problem areas, this may not be the most suitable experience for you, but I'd recommend Ying Thai to anyone with who wants an authentic Thai massage.
Deep Tissue Massage
I've been to Ying Thai a few times before and I think it's a lovely venue, the staff are always pleasant, professional and friendly, and previous massages have always been great. As with most places the style varies with each member of staff, and unfortunately the massage I had recently was only okay. The masseuse just didn't seem like she wanted to be there and there was no structure to what she was doing, it wasn't very effective and I could still feel lots of knots when I left. However if I was still working around Kings Cross I might have given it another go based on the quality of previous visits.
Thai Massage
This was my first Thai style massage and I wasn't disappointed. It was a bit on the painful side but I was expecting it and you can ask the masseuse to tone it down if you wish. I ached for a couple of days afterwards but this is the first time I've had a massage that I've really felt the benefit of. I definitely felt a lot of the tension in my shoulder area had gone and felt a lot more relaxed. The venue itself was surprisingly pleasant and clean and the staff were very friendly. On the whole this was a very good experience and I intend to go back regularly, whenever I feel the need to de-stress.
Thai Massage
Usual good experience but it is a bit annoying how we can't pick the therapist as the quality of massage I get from here varies from time to time. They are all good but some of them are better
