I visited after getting some small aches in my lower back and shoulders. It was a wet Sunday afternoon with gale for winds, so it was nice that upon arriving I was made to feel right at home.
Upon arriving you get a quick foot wash which was a really nice touch. Obviously this will probably not be the case if you're only getting a back/shoulders rub.
The decor and aroma of the place was really nice. Exactly what you'd expect a good professional massage parlour to look like. The lighting was great, and after allowing for changing, you get straight to it.
The staff were really nice, my masseuse was wonderful and interesting to talk to as was the receptionist. After the excellent massage that released a lot of knots from my back and legs, I was kindly invited for a hot drink of ginger tea back upstairs.
At no point did I feel rushed and I would definitely head back again.
I chose Ying Thai initially for the location as it is quite convenient for me. The lady at reception remembered me from my previous visit which was nice. The staff are very friendly and the atmosphere is great. The place is also very clean. I had a deep tissue massage and the masseuse asked if I had any issues and why I wanted to get a massage, so she knew where to concentrate on and what to look out for. I left feeling great (in a bit of pain, but that was good!). I've already booked my next appointment.
It started with a foot bus which was nice. I asked for strong pressure & she could do it very strong that I had to ask her to make it softer. I loved the head massage she gave me. I felt refreshing & rejuvenated. It mad me feel that I should go more often.
