Thai Massage
Great value for money and the best massage I've ever had!! I booked this last minute as I woke up with a bad back and needed to somewhere close to work.
I was seen straight away and the woman who did my massage was great and tailored the massage to where I was in discomfort. Very friendly staff and I'll definitely be coming back!
An almost perfect experience. I didn't like to say not perfect, this massage was about 99.9% perfect and I will definitely be back.
The place is so clean and smells beautiful as soon as you walk in. I arrived a little early and it was really nice to just sit down and relax beforehand. They give you a lovely foot bath/scrub while you wait. I was then called in to a lovely room decorated with flowers and it smelt gorgeous, and was very clean.
There were some really nice touches too, for example there was a nice looking plant underneath the face-hole in the bed. I know that's an odd thing to say but it was nice to have something to look at and not just a boring floor!
The massage was fantastic, the masseuse was very nice and asked me about firmness. I thought I had liked a 'firm' massage but discovered the Thai 'medium' was just fine. She was very careful to ask me about the pressure if I flinched at all. It was perfect though.
Sadly the second half of the massage was not as good as the first. Half-way through, my masseuse swapped over for another. I don't know why. It was a long massage (1.5hrs) so I kinda understand if the masseuse needed a break but it kinda ruined the experience because this second masseuse hadn't worked with me for 45 minutes, she wasn't as firm and she didn't ask questions about firmness. Also, my absolute masseuse-pet-hate is that she had slightly long nails which dug into my flesh when she was massaging me which I really hate.
At the end of the massage though I felt relaxed, I was slightly rushed out of the room. I had hoped for a few minutes to lay back and relax before getting changed, but she came in just when I was getting changed and told me another customer was waiting. She started making up the bed and such while I was still dressing in the room which was a bit awkward. I'm not embarrassed about being in the nude (considering she had just give me a massage but I felt a bit rushed and forced out. Luckily, the ginger tea and a sit in the chair in reception made me feel better.
I'll definitely be returning however.
Deep Tissue Massage
Very good massage, the therapist was brilliant and the atmosphere very relaxing. I will do it again!
