Friendly staff but terribly cheap quality products used, only one pair of scissors used and cut in very square manner no blending. Blow dry was so hap hazard and rough that I'm leaving with more damaged hair than I came with. Quite upset won't be returning.
Good blow dry. The hairdresser I had was a bit rough with the hair dryer and brush...but I could see she was quite young and I guess slightly inexperienced. But overall good.
Tangles is a small salon near Earl's Court and is pleasant enough, but quite basic in style and set-up, not a higher end salon. I went for the £20 wet cut, which was done by Colin, but sadly I wasn't happy with the end result - this could have been partly my fault for not bringing in photos of the style I wanted, but the consultation only lasted 30 seconds before he washed my hair and got on with it. I asked for chopped layers and feathering around the face, but got neither unfortunately. I called the salon the next day to see if I could pop back to have the cut rectified, which they slotted in the same day with no fuss and no extra charge, which was great. Crystal spent a long time consulting me on what I wanted and was very kind and patient, then spent 45 minutes trying to save the cut. It was a lot better afterwards, but think it might needs a few months to "grow out"! I tried to tip her for the extra work and time, but she wouldn't take any extra money. I don't think I'd go back to Tangles for a restyle, but it's probably fine for a cheap trim.
