I walked into a dingy waiting area to a man who could hardly speak English and had no knowledge of my booking. A woman came up 15 minutes after my appointment time and pointed at the chair in the waiting area. I asked if there was anywhere else and she pointed downstairs, asking me to follow the man, but when I asked if he was doing the massage, she offered to do it herself. It turned into a full body massage which was nice but I definitely wouldn't go back!
A little bit back alley, and I did think for a moment that I was going to have a final destination moment in the tanning machine, but thankfully made it out alive!
The worst experience at a beauty salon- my friend and I were browsing for massage offers and discovered the place. We were greeted by a not so friendly receptionist who motioned us to go straight to the treatment room which was in the basement on the day, and we were embarrassed to find that the previous customer was still changing in the room! When it was finally our turn, we discovered that there were only one male and one female masseurs available on the day, which we weren't told prior to the visit. Instead of assisting to resolve the problem, the receptionist went on about not being able to give any refund straight away and that I should wait at a coffee shop nearby for my friend to finish. An hour later, my friend left feeling very disappointed at her desired sports massage which turned out to be light touches on her back and legs. I wouldn't waste my time nor money if you were after some good massages and customer service!
