I've had enough of glamorous treatment rooms in a chic salons offering mediocre massages, wanted a no frills clinical space with top-notch deep tissue work. Cue dingy basement room, brusque hard-sell proprietor, frazzled Dr Li, and a chaotic massage where she kept stopping to rummage around for things. It wasn't a bad result in the end, my back did feel much better, but I'll be going somewhere lighter, brighter and customer friendlier next time.
