Let me just preface that I had a great massage here the week before, by a man. I get massages regularly for work, and have had many Thai massages over the years in many international locales. I don't know if this girl was a sub, but it was haphazard replication of what a massage should be, without the knowledge of proper alignment or anatomy. I knew when we began that this would be a below average massage, but I didn't think that I would leave worse off than I started and with a wonky shoulder. We had agreed to do a partial head/face massage for my allergies, and it was laughable how terrible it was. At the end, she asked if I would like the "stretching" and I had to tell her to stop when she jammed her knee awkwardly on one side of my side and pulled. (Usually the assisted stretches are my favorite part!) I told her to stop and that we could be finished. On my way out, I asked what the name of of the fabulous guy I had the first time, and she said that he didn't work there regularly, only when someone requested a male masseur. I would come back if I knew that I could book with him again, but it's not worth the risk of me having to get another massage just to fix the damage done of this most recent one. I'll find somewhere else!
The deep tissue massage was good, she worked a lot on my issue. But unfortunately this resulted in me not getting the foot reflexology that I was really looking forward too. I guess communication was a bit difficult. Might come back another time to try it out.
I had a Ashiatsu Thai massage and wanted ultra deep pressure on my back. Nancy listened to all my requests and worked on the stubborn knots. It was a massage I had been looking for for a while and I am glad I finally found where to get it from!
