I am a therapist myself so can be quite difficult to please in terms of massage. The treatment room is warm, relaxing and the music is soothing and heated massage couch a bonus! This was my 2nd visit here for a Thai-combination massage, my first visit I enjoyed alot as the therapist was obviously very experienced. My 2nd visit was nice, but I felt it could have been better. It could have been improved by the therapist being a bit more attentive..for example asking me if i had any areas of tension needing focus on. I felt some of the Thai movements a bit forced and uncomfortable compared to other Thai massages i have had and the back massage could have been more thorough. I came away more relaxed but i was slightly disappointed.
Pedicure was great but then the therapist ran out of time and the manicure was rather rushed and uncomfortable - over enthusiastic filing of my nails was quite worrying! All in all though a good experience and excellent value.
Absolutely brilliant massage: skilled hands, pressure just right, totally relaxing. Very kind staff. Last minute availability also very helpful. Will be back
I had a deep tissue massage and it was brilliant. I have no complaints about the whole experience except that I could have had more pressure as I like very hard pressure. Saying that, it was so good I kept falling asleep! I felt really relaxed afterwards and because the massage room is set off the main road, you cant hear any noisy traffic (which can detract from relaxation in some other spas). I would definitely recommend Thai Spa Village its superb.
The whole experience was very relaxing and great value - would definitely try other treatments and recommend the spa to friends.
