The spa is absolutely stunning and the rooms are well designed. My theraist did a thai massage for me, and as the steam room was out of order, they extended the massage to 1.5 hours.
My only small comlpaint would be that the room was slightly bright for my liking (ie should use candles if poss) and the music went off halfway through, which meant I could hear the juice machine going upstairs! It is based underneath a restaurant (which by the way does great food) but this can be a bit noisy.
The spa is very authentic Thai and the massage was fantastic.
Amazing!! I love how this place is hidden away from hustle and bustle of Covent Garden but its slap-bang in the middle of the buzz - perfect location. We had bought the £45 Wahanda voucher for 2hrs of pampering: 15mins foot bath (bliss!), 30mins steam room (lovely setup with shower and change area outside), 45mins thai/aromatherapy massage - this was bliss... a young Thai guy worked his magic (a lovely Thai lady came to see me to check i was ok to have a male masseur beforehand). I was asking questions as to what he was doing and he was very informative and really tried to help release the tension in my shoulders and upper back. I have felt a noticeable difference since.
After our treatments we went to enjoy a cup of tea in the relaxation area but unfortunately there were only 3 beds and 2 people had got there before us! Also the changing room was very small and only one shower - it was fine for us though as no-one else was in there at the same time.
The Thai square was beautiful and tranquil on entering. The receptionists were welcoming and polite. I was seen by Noo who was very nice and kept me informed as to what was going to happen. I was taken to a room to change into loose fitting clothes, then my feet were washed by Noo. The Thai massage was nice, but at times painful, but became very relaxing. After, I was given a dressing gown and shown into the sauna room. This was lovely and relaxing after being pulled and prodded. This was even nicer as I had the room all to myself. A shower room was provided to shower once I had finished. When I came out I was offered a cup of Jasmine tea.
The whole experience was wonderful, it was for two hours, but it felt like time flew by very quickly. If another Wahanda special came up for the Thai spa I would definitely go again.
I visited the above venue on my own, and first impression was very pleasant. I was shown to a seat and given a paper to fill in my details. The masseuse came, unfortunately she did not introduce herself, and I had to ask her for her name. Showed me to the steam room and told me what to do, very relaxing
experience.Overall, it was very pleasant, very good Thai massage.
I had a really nice time at the Thai Square spa. The therapist was very professional & the tea was lovely. The steam was wonderful & so was the massage. The ambience is absolutely amazing & really relaxing. The only thing that I was a little unhappy with was the duration of the foot soak. would have liked it to be a little longer. would recommend this spa :)
