I had a fabulous experience. Anna, the therapist was great. She put me at ease and provided one of the best massages that I have ever had. I am no novice at this as I do love a regular massage, usually once a month. This has not been possible recently due to illness but on the mend now so have booked in for August already. The deal offered was great value. CHEERS,
How fabulous was it on my first visit? All I can say is one of the best massages I have ever had. There was tension in neck and shoulder area and calf muscles were feeling neglected due to standing for extended periods. I walked out of Thiamoon feeling so relaxed. I have booked my next treatment. Thanks Gary for suggesting.
I have now been back a couple of times and my opinion has not changed, professional and attentive at all times. I was aching a lot from some previous exercise and work and asked the masseuse to maybe try a different massage but she assured me that the deep tissue would be the best for me and I was expecting a lot of pain but she used just enough pressure to ease the muscles and I must admit a few days later I felt far better. The lesson here is listen to what the masseuses tells you. I have no problem in recommending ThaiNamoon and of course I will be back.
Great massage, my tight shoulders feel much better now. Can't wait for my next appointment. The therapist was knowledgable and used the right amount of pressure for me to get the most out of my experience (painful but bearable).
I was unsure of what to expect from the ThaiMoon and was slightly taken aback to see that anyone passing could just look in the window and see who was waiting for their massage but I now see that as I positive as its transparency is there for all to see. From the moment I entered I was made to feel at ease with the staff welcomed me by knowing my name and and offered me either water or Thai tea to sip while I completed a Health Questioner. The Masseuse then led me into a small candlelit room with Thai music playing in the background and explained what was going to happen and left me to strip down to my undies and lay face down on the massage table covering myself with a towel. It was nice lying there relaxing and feeling warm while the music softly played and after a couple of minutes the masseuse knocked on the door to ask if I was ready which I thought was nice. The deep tissue massage started with warm towels being placed on the souls of my feet and warm oils being rubbed into my calves. I had been warned that it might be painful when the massage started but I was ill prepared for what happened next as the masseuse kneaded my knotted calf muscles. The masseuse saw that I was in agony and asked if I was ok and should she ease off on the pressure and then to let her know when it was bearable but she needed to use some pressure to try to get rid of years of abuse from your's truly. The session lasted for an hour with alternating periods of discomfort gentleness and towards the end the masseuse said ' not long to go now Peter ' and then it was all over. The masseuse told me to take my time in getting up and getting dressed as I would feel a bit light headed but being a man I thought I knew better, WRONG, I sank back down on the table for a few minutes longer and then got up feeling a lot better. Outside the room in the Reception area I was told to sit down and offered a glass of water and the masseuse went on to explain that I must drink plenty of water over the next few hours and that I may feel sore for a few days but it will pass. I am NOT a masochist but I have since been back for two further sessions in an attempt to ease the knotted muscles. Would I recommend the Thai Moon? definitely Would I recommend the Deep Tissue massage? without a doubt as long as you don't bruise easily and take their advice on which massage to have. Will I go back? without a shadow of doubt.
