I had a Hollywood wax with Suzie - she is very kind and tries to make it as pain free as possible. This is not the first wax I have had, but it was my first at ThaiNamoon, and was surprised that she was not wearing gloves - this may be an issue for some people but I trusted that it was for good reason (maybe the wax sticks to the gloves?) The only other thing was that because they use a massage room as a waxing room, it was super hot!! Suzie did apologise but just so any ladies in the future know - slip down to a vest before your treatment starts.
I went for a massage a few days ago as I had been experiencing pain along the sciatic nerve. After going thru a medical checklist and enjoying a hot jasmine tea, I was taken thru for my massage. The atmosphere was calm and soothing music was playing gently in the background - a good start! The massage was wonderful, I was asked frequently just how much pressure I wanted, especially down my leg. I would have dropped off but it would have been a pity to miss out!! I left feeling better than I had in days and I'm glad to say I'm still fine three days after! I would recommend ThaiNamoon to anyone who wants a seriously good massage.
When I go for a massage I expect to have a quiet tranquil experience, but I could hear loud voices and laughing in another room which is not what I want. The lady did a good job and will give it another chance and see.
I had a lovely aromatherapy massage here for my birthday. The setting was lovely and relax. I was offered Jasmine green tea when I arrived and the staff were welcoming and professional.
The relaxing music was lovely and added to the ambiance.
I had a choice of aromatherapy oils which were used to help treat different ailments. (Lemongrass, lavender, ylang ylang or eucalyptus) I opted for lemongrass.
The massage therapist was very professional and the aramatherapy oil was lovely. It left my skin smelling and feeling beautiful. The massage was relaxing and therapeutic. It was a good stress relief. I would recommend this place and hope to go back next time I visit Chester.
