On the positive, this salon has a really nice interior and really good coffee. It is also very reasonably priced for London.
Unfortunately I left very unhappy with my hair. It was cut a lot shorter than I asked for, and the layers I asked to be trimmed have been cut extremely short and blunt. The colour was also a lot darker than expected, with my roots still visible. I did ring to see if the colour could be sorted (the haircut is a lost cause, I will just have to let it grow out) only to be told upon visiting that it the colour ‘seemed light enough’ and was advised to wash it to get rid of the toner, and if I was still unhappy the same stylist would apply bleach the ends of my hair to brighten it. I do appreciate the offer but as a fake blonde of 4 years I know the issue was with the toner; the ends of my hair were already bleached and light before I came in, and I didn’t appreciate that I was treated as if I was making an issue out of nothing, when in reality I paid for a service and left with someone that not only was not what I expected, but was not done very well.
great salon that really cares about what you want and makes it happen. lovely staff and great coffee/pastries :)
