I had a lovely relaxing time at The Abbey Spa. The staff were very friendly and accommodating.
The massage was amazing!
The spa facilities were great and they had 3 different steam rooms, sauna and small relaxation pool. I would definitely come back again. Amazing value.
Massage: I had a 55min massage which was fantastic. She adjusted her pressure when I commented too.
Spa facilities: Small and compact and only 1 shower working. It has steam rooms, sauna and jacuzzi. Was quite busy in there when I was there on a Saturday afternoon. Bit too busy for me to find it relaxing.
Change rooms: Very basic. More like a swimming pool change room than a luxury spa and the usual wet seats and hair etc.. Hairdryer provided but no toiletries.
You need a pound coin for the lockers.
Extras: towel and robe provided with a £5 deposit. No slippers so bring your own.
Parking: Expensive at £5 for 2 hours and £10 for 4 hours.
Overall for the deal I got it was good value and would recommend.
It was good, therapist was friendly. The room wasn't cleaned enough though, overall good.
