I saw a few reviews and went for a haircut. The hairdresser was friendly and spoke very well to me. The place is not pricey. HOWEVER, the hair cut was not acceptable. It looked like the hairdresser tried and created a 'W' shape on my hair. I said thank you and came to appear polite. But was amazed how they could get away with such poor quality of work.
Personally, I would not recommend this place for a haircut!

I went to Avenue not expecting much but was totally blown away by the attentiveness and customer service. There is a reason that you struggle to find bad reviews, the place is simply amazing and the owner Fu, is both a fantastic hairdresser and very decent person. I can't recommend this place highly enough. Everything was amazing.

Got a great haircut for a great value. I loved the time Natalie took to assess and discuss exactly what I wanted with my hair even though it was a regular trim - she made sure I was satisfied every step of the way and was completely unrushed, a rare find in a hairdresser but seems to be the norm for this salon! I work nearby so will definitely be coming back for regular trims.

Went there for a cut and balayage a couple of years back and was absolutely delighted with the cut and color.
Then I changed hairdresser and was absolutely traumatised. Took me over 2 years to go back to a hair salon and so I decided to come back here.
I'm absolutely thrilled with my new cut and blowdry. The staff are both really nice and really listen and help with the choice of style and length to cut. Not pushy or heavy on the chopping or even in a hurry for the next client (which is RARE) :). I was the only one in the salon so really felt like the focus was on my hair.
Last thing I told them was that I wouldn't wait another 2 years to go back ! Would 100% recommend. Great value, great cut, great service !
