absolutely fantastic stay everything from to begining to end was completely spot on ,many thanks for a brilliant stay. We look forward to our next visit.
Good, but distance between hotel and spa would put us off going back for another visit. Staff very friendly and helpful. Food not as good as at Hastings Bannatyne Hotel and Spa.
The hotel was lovely! When we arrived the receptionist was very helpful and kindly upgraded our room to the Deluxe Suite as we were away for a 21st birthday. The room, food and staff were great and made our stay very enjoyable and relaxing. My massage was perfect however my partners massage was a bit too forceful and deep tissue. Also we felt a bit uncomfortable walking through the health centre in our robes to get to the spa. Would definitely stay again.
Booked meal for 8pm, on arrival was told it would be 7.30pm but she would check with mix up and ring our room, she never did. Room stunk of sweat from arriving till leaving (1 night). Room hadnt been cleaned properly as there were brown splash marks all over the tiles in the bathroom. Room also had a realy squeaky bed (not good as it was valentines 😉) and a broken chair. Breakfast was an absolute shambles! It was suposed to be a buffet but there was nothing ready. You basically had to wait while they brought one part of the breakfast out at a time and if you werent first in you had to wait for the next lot which took 5-10 mins. By the time we had a full english on our plates it was cold. The only part of the stay we couldnt fault was the restaurant for our evening meal, the service and food was excellent.
Had a fantastic time at Bannatyne's and will definitely go again. The place was very easy to find as we arrived by train, staff very friendly, hotel very clean and Spa was amazing. Definitely worth the money.
