Ambience is fine. Staff are friendly. But a terrible wax. I've been getting waxed every month for five years and this one left me with red raw legs and bikini line. The strip wasn't pulled on in one go and she kept half pulling it off and then ripping again.
Saying that, I have had waxes here before that were great so might have just been a bad experience
After browsing other beauty salons around liverpool street, I was keen to try The Beauty box as it is very close to my office. The location is easy to find, staff are friendly and the shellac manicure was great! Will definitely come back :)
Went for a two week manicure and the therapist was aggressive with cuticles and made them bleed, which is a massive faux-pas. I'm not a nail biter and my cuticles are in good shape. She was friendly if a bit inexperienced. Location and hours great for city workers.
Shocking customer service. I have been coming here for years - I booked my usual wax, was a few minutes late for my appointment and was rudely turned away without eye contact from the front desk. No flexibility whatsoever. Very disappointing and expected better after several years of loyalty. I will obviously be going somewhere else from now on.
