I was really looking forward to getting my nails done but unfortunately I was really disappointed with my experience at the salon. I was running late to my appointment so I called the salon to let them know that I was going to be late and apologised. The response I received was abrupt and unprofessional. I was told that she had a hospital appointment and if I wasn’t there within the next minute or so she wouldn’t be able to do my nails. I explained that I have already paid for the service to which she responded that ‘‘it wasn’t her fault that I was late’’. After explaining that I wasn’t blaming her for my lateness but since I have already paid i would appreciate it if she was able to squeeze me in. She offered to do a shellac nails instead to which I agreed. I got to the appointment around 20 mins late. At this point I was some what annoyed by the phone conversation. Instead of getting on with the appointment, I was told that she felt uncomfortable doing my nails because she’s been made to feel like the bad guy and she is in fact been very decent by offering to do my nails. After the clearing the air, she did my nails which turned turned out reasonably well. I felt that the whole situation could have been dealt a lot more professionally which would made my experience much more pleasant. Unfortunately I wouldn’t be returning to the salon.
