Not a very comfortable experience, was phoned up after booking. And told my booking would have to be moved to later, as someone had already booked that time slot that morning not through Treatwell. And their system doesn’t work well with Treatwell. I was then asked “what I would like to be done?” in quite a problematic tone as if I was causing the issue. As well as personal questions such as what I was doing with my day and why I couldn’t come later as well as where I lived (the specific area) which I thought was very invasive. Overall I could still come to the appointment at the right time. However not a very professional experience. Additionally, although the manager was very accomodating and spoke to me when arriving. It was uncomfortable once I had arrived. And I felt as if I had caused a problem by booking, and not changing my time, when in reality that is the salons fault for not aligning their booking systems. Additionally, the wax was not what I am used to. I get waxed once a month (I came here as my usual lady cancelled). And this was also an uncomfortable experience I was asked to hold myself in different positions, which I’ve never been asked to do before. And the lady seemed to get angry and frustrated with me doing it wrong. Often snapping at me and sighing in frustration? When she wasn’t giving much guidance on what I should be doing or where I should be putting my hands. Additionally, although I do not expect to walk out with no hairs at all on me, I had booked a Hollywood and only realised my bum area had been completely missed when I got home. Also feel the waxing experience was quite rough and the lady would pull my skin taught way more aggressively than needed even after waxing when the skin is quite sensitive. Which has left my skin raw and angry, which never normally happens. Overall do not recommend, I am extremely disappointed and will not be returning, which is a shame. I am only saying this not out of spite, but complete transparency. As there are areas this salon should work on.
