Overall great wax! The lady I had was extremely friendly and made it as pleasent as possible for me. Really happy with the service. However some hairs were still left and wasnt clean free and when I got home I realised on the treatwell it is £28 and in the store it is £31. Nevertheless I booked again because of the great service
I really hate complaining first of all! I work in the same trade so I have to be honest the quality of the finished work was below average. Gel was left on my skin around nail and allowed to cure under lamp so as you can imagine Manicure was left very messy. The lady was fully aware of the situation and tried to tell me it’s normal as my nail plate was small “as I should know being a nail tech myself” not what you should of said I’m afraid I would have used a pen to tidy up my mess and remove access gel before curing! I just didn’t find the Manicure worth £32 which I spent and with how the ambiance of the salon was presented you would expect a much more professional job. Disappointing. I had theses done in prep for a holiday and the same night I had to remove and redo myself. The application of the gel wasn’t even as some nails had dents and wasn’t smooth, again the lady did acknowledge this and instead of correcting it said the top coat sometimes corrects the issue which is on the rare occasion sometimes true however when my hand was cured and it wasn’t corrected you would have thought that she would have sorted it instead it was ignored. As I said I hate complaining and I know it’s sometimes hard when your working against the clock with another client behind me I didn’t want to keep anyone waiting but I feel this review is valid and needs to be said. On a positive note the ambiance is really nice but unfortunately the only positive I have, this is the second time I’ve had a treatment with these guys and neither occasion was memorable in a positive way so unfortunately I won’t be returning here.
Wax was way too hot (new machine but wasn’t tested before using on a clients intimate area!) booking stated £28 for a Hollywood but I got charged £31! Lovely lady but the finished result could have been cleaner.
