My nails were done by a lovely young lady who was friendly and chatty. It was only after I left the salon that I began to question whether the pedicure she gave me had been what I'd actually booked and why, at no point at all, was any water used for either the manicure or pedicure!
According to the salon's website, my OPI gel pedi should have incorporated 'all the luxuries of a Spa pedicure', with hard skin removal etc, but there was just some pushing back of cuticles, gel polish and a bit of moisturiser. No luxury, really.
After getting home and putting my glasses on, I could see some areas where the gel had extended onto both the skin and cuticle areas beyond my toe nails and where loads of cuticle work had been missed on my fingers. This is a disappointment given that were I not currently recovering from surgery, I could personally complete this work to a higher standard.
The salon was lovely, the staff friendly, but the attention to detail just wasn't where it needs to be. Such a shame. I've given 4 stars because I'm not a horrible meanie - this seems like something simple that can be rectified with extra training.

The staff were attentive and very welcoming to a first time customer. The massage itself was brilliant and I left feeling incredibly relaxed.
I actually had a luxury pedicure instead of reflexology but this included a massage which was lovely! Great service, really nice staff!
