I booked in for the luxury gel pedicure as I wanted a good pedicure to fix the dry skin on my feet for the summer, as well as just making my toes look pretty. I'm glad that I at least got gel as it almost made it worth the £40, as the actual pedicure was poor. I sat in the waiting area to have my pedicure, in an electric foot spa you could buy from boots. The "therapist" sat on the floor. I had my feet soaked, rubbed with foot scrub and very lightly buffed. Then I had gel applied to my toenails. I'm lost as to what was luxury and not just standard, or even sub-standard about this pedicure. It was not the nice relaxing experience I was hoping for, I had to ask her to make sure she went over the middle of my second foot since she only did the ball and heel on my first foot..and after the experience I still had areas of dry skin on my feet as it was far from thorough. I will now be looking for another pedicure in order to get the "luxury" standard treatment I was looking for and needed.
The staff were really friendly, but sitting in the waiting room while other people came and sat next to me waiting for their treatments was hardly ideal and apart from the lovely colour of the gel on my toes the end result wasn't great.
I'm dubious when it comes to tans but I was more than impressed with everything from start to finish at the beauty rooms. Kathleen is fabulous and so helpful with top tips on how to maintain the tan and which colour to go for based on skin tone. Will 100% be using them again in the future!
I was so impressed by the service i received when i visited The Beauty Room, Fulham; all the staff were very friendly and incredibly efficient. There is such a positive happy vibe when you enter the salon and i could not thank them more for fitting me in at the last minute. They are always prepared to go that extra mile, very hands on and always endeavour to make things happen and their professionalism is flawless. Totally recommend my experience!!
