The therapist was friendly but the facial was a massive disappointment. Although I explained which areas I would like the therapist to focus on she seemed to do her standard facial routine. My main concern was to get a proper extraction of a couple of deeper lying blackheads which I asked her to put the main focus on. Usually (at other spas) this is easily, quickly and almost pain-free done using extraction tools. She didn’t use any extraction tools but her fingers with a tissue wrapped around. A total joke! I haven’t had such an unprofessional facial in 20 years. The therapist left the room 3 times (twice without even saying she would leave the room), leaving me lying there in my bra with pads on my eyes feeling strange and vulnerable as the door wasn’t closed properly and I didn’t have a clue what was going on.
Usually therapists explain which products they use and what they are doing. Unfortunately, none of this happened here. Layer after layer of products got smothered on and taken off.
When I left I had residues on my face, on my ears and at my bra straps. One can surely expect a professional and up to date facial when paying 55£ for a 1 hour session that was just 50mins. A rather awful experience and I am sorry but I would not recommend this place to get a facial.
