I had booked a 45min sports massage. I take good care of my body and wellbeing and since I lift weights, I get massages to keep my muscles well conditioned. The therapist was absolutely lovely as a human being, but a lot of time was lost to talking about stuff that was irrelevant to my needs, even though I was very clear about what I was after and even though it seemed clear to her that I wasn’t suffering from any physical ailments that needed treating. The massage itself did not feel like a sports massage. When asked about the pressure, I said (nicely) that I could use a little more (I’m quite sensitive but even to me it felt light), which just prompted lots of comments from side of the therapist but no noticeable increase in intensity. All in all, the massage felt superficial in parts, incomplete in others, and rushed in general. After about 30 minutes of actual treatment, the next client arrived and treatment was over. Bottom line: I do not feel that I got what I paid for.
I was extremely impressed with the treatment I received from Tracy, she was so professional and really took the time before we started to figure out what I was hoping to achieve from my session. I felt entirely comfortable with her and it was obvious I was in very good and experienced hands! I felt absolutely amazing afterwards and also felt considerably lighter than I have in quite a while. I very much appreciated how she took the time to properly demonstrate her recommended exercises afterwards and also to make sure I understood what I was doing.
