I was fortunate enough to be treated to a Sundari DIVYA at this venue last week and cannot express how excellent I found this whole experience! The facilities and ambience of the whole place is so wonderfully relaxing and calming from the moment you walk through the door, a speciality being that it is "ladies only" and exclusively private to just you and your chosen guest/s. The knowledge of treatments that Theoni has is remarkable, coupled with a professional manner that is outstanding! The fact that she is able to relay the philosophy, not only factually, but so effectively throughout the entire treatment is such a credit to her. I particularly liked the fact that we were not "rushed" and was made to feel that we were controlling the time rather than the therapist, which is so often the case. I have visited many such places over the years', and experienced a variety of treatments, however, I really cannot remember one that has made such a lasting impression as this place, it really is a hidden gem! If you haven't already tried it- then believe me- it really is somewhere you should put on your list to visit - I guarantee you will not be disappointed! I, for one, will be re-visiting VERY soon, again and again!
Not just a treatment, an experience!
From the moment we arrived we were pampered non-stop!
After our refreshing welcome drink, the spa manager, Theoni, showed us to the changing room and explained that we had slippers, robes and even a pouch to put our jewellery in and a locker to keep everything safe. We then had a complimentary half hour in the steam room and sauna which was a lovely start to our experience. This was followed by the most amazing Divya treatment - a massage with hot oil, followed by the most divine facial, I was so relaxed I almost fell asleep! After our treatments we relaxed in the spa lounge and were served tea and a sweet treat! We were told to relax and take our time and there was no pressure on us to leave.
I travel a lot and have visited spas all around the world but this is by far and away one of the best I have ever visited and it's on my doorstep! I shall definitely be returning. It was a wonderful experience.
Absolutely stunning experience - great treatment and then tea and cake afterwards. Would definitely come again!
