Can't rate this place highly enough! Absolutely brilliant experience.:) From the minute I walked in, smily, chatty staff who made me feel really welcome. Therapy room is in the basement, but don't be put off. Room is clean and bright, and prcodeure was really hygenic and clean - each application was done with clean fresh stick. Lovely warm homemade wax - good for sensitve skin, like mine. Therapist was really knowledgeable and also really lovely and chatty, she made me feel totally at ease. Was a bit nervous, as I've had bad experiences in the past with therapists who didn't know what they were doing - but not here! Therapist was excellent and made me feel in totally safe hands. Excellent customer service. Brilliant wax, best I've ever had! Not painful, quick, and a really great result. I urge you try this place, you will not be disappointed!!
Easily the best waxing experiences I've ever had. Quick and friendly service with no fuss. The only downside to this absolute GEM of a place is that the entrance and the 'changing room' feels a bit ad hoc (it is in the basement of a hairdressers...) Also there is a loyalty card - but compared to other central london boutiques, this place is incredible value too!!
Easily the best Hollywood I've ever had, and almost pain free! The therapist was great, and very thorough. After 4 weeks, I have the same amount of regrowth I'd normally have after 2. I was also impressed by the attention to hygiene - eg. no re-using of the wooden spatulas that are used for intimate waxing. Recommended, & will definitely be returning. By the way - you can't pay by card, so buy a voucher here, or make sure you have enough cash.
The location is convenient, as it's just off of Oxford St. The salon itself is ok: it's a hair salon upstairs and the treatment room is in the basement. The waxing was fine and the therapist was chatty, which is always a nice thing to distract from the pain of waxing! A few patches were missed on my legs, but the hairs are fine so I wasn't too disappointed. A swift and reasonable wax, which was good value via Wahanda.
So the place is in a great and easy to get to location, although the wax therapist must rent the room from the beauty salon because it is downstairs and separate. At first i was weary because it is basically just a small room with a chair/bed thing in it, which is a lot different from the big spas, salons, and waxing places I would go to in NYC, but what matters to me is THE WAX and THE THERAPIST- and both of those things were GREAT! I have very sensitive skin and am always worried about the wax used but this wax was brilliant! She said she made it herself and i believed her because it was soft and virtually pain free! The therapist herself was also VERY VERY good and made sure to talk while and get my mind off the unpleasantness while being fast and efficient with the waxing. I highly recc. this place esp. for a brazilian!
