The hotel is lovely but we were surprised to see how tiny the Spa is, there was no relaxation area or anywhere to sit and dry hair or apply make up/ body lotion and there were only 2 single changing cubicles. The jacuzzi had so much froth I felt like I was in advert for a bubble bath and the young couple in there were playing their choice of music from their phone, which wasn’t really in keeping with a Spa ambience. It’s all very clean and modern but better suited to the hotel guests rather than day only guests. I believe there is a gym but we didn’t see one and everything was a bit vague. However, all members of staff we encountered were very friendly and helpful, the lady who did our massage was excellent it was just disappointing that it only lasted 45 mins instead of an hour as stated.
Massage was good but the spa facilities were too cramped and on top of reception. You basically sit next to the person at reception while you are in the jacuzzi while cleaners are constantly coming in and out disrupting any sort of relaxation. We also went in for the couples treatment and were separated the entire time. Completely defeated the purpose of a ‘couples treatment’.
