My husband booked afternoon tea and spa appointments for my sister-in-law and myself for our birthdays. The tea was lovely, easily one of my favorite things we did while in London. The massage was out of this world. Great pressure, hit all the right areas. Would recommend to anyone.
The Hotel staff were very welcoming, friendly and attentive.
The spa was very small although did serve its purpose. The staff in the spa were polite but with a can’t be bothered attitude, receptionist was bored to tears and the masseuse had an attitude and didn’t want to be there, especially massaging someone, but she may have had an off day!
Afternoon tea was nice.
It is a tiny place in a basement. Not a spa but rather a tiny (literally 4 people max) pool and a small steam room. The 'gym' is a treadmill, a stationary bike, a yoga mat, and some small fre weights.
Staff were ok but massage therapist was not friendly at all - literally rollled her eyes when I requested a deep-tissue. She was proficient but far from a great experience.
Totally overpriced, wouldn't go back.
