We arrived to the hotel early in the morning and were gladly surprised the included healthy breakfast was a buffet as we were starving! We were shown to the spa, which is small but we mostly had it to ourselves, so that was enjoyable. Our treatment was a hot stone massage and I came out so relaxed! The only downside is that the spa is really small, and sharing a tiny pool with two youngsters taking selfies is not what anyone looking to relax looks forward to! I wish the spa staff had said something about it, as they could see what was going on. Other than that I would repeat!

As a belated birthday present I treated my friend to a massage in the Chilworth Spa and an afternoon tea in the hotel's restaurant. We both enjoyed our lovely and very professional treatments - although it's a shame we couldn't have our massages at the same time as there is only one treatment room. Both the Classic and the Indian afternoon teas were delicious and were also treated to am unexpected glass of prosecco which was most welcome. Overallut overall it was a very enjoyable afternoon.

I went for my birthday with a small group of friends. The spa is very intimate and facilities were working perfectly. The massage treatment was amazing. I will definitely go back again.

My partner and I booked a Black Friday deal for two massages and time to use the spa. The massages were very good, and the spa is clean with a Jacuzzi and steam room. The spa itself is inside a hotel and we were held in reception for 15 minutes although we had arrived at the time we were told to. The facilities are very small - one shower for everyone, one steam room and one Jacuzzi, with nowhere to sit and relax if you don't want to do either (or there is no room to do either, as happened to us!) The facilities themselves are nice but they can't hold more than 4 people and as it's in a hotel, if and when hotel guests want to come they do! at one point we had 10 people in this very small space, where there were no lockers left and it ruined the serene experience we had paid for as there were wet towels, shoes and socks all over the floor next to the jacuzzi. I could hear the other spa users very clearly through the door of the massage room as they were shouting to each other. I think that as the space is so small, they should perhaps work harder to maintain small user numbers; otherwise the spa loses its tranquil effect - which is not ideal when that is what you've paid for. The massage itself was good - I got to choose between 4 types of massage when I arrived and I selected deep tissue.
