There was no one at the desk when i arrived ahead of my treatment to use the facilities. This is because they had no cover for the front desk and there was a note saying 'therapist is in treatment'. As a result i waited around wasting my time, had to go out to the reception desk twice and in the end had to ask someone working at the Club (but not in the spa) if they could at least just give me a locker key so i could go down and use the facilities. Was not a great start to my experience :(
I have been to the spa many times over the years usually for “holiday” pedicures. My therapist this time was Arik, she was brilliant, the quality of her work and attention to detail exceptional plus her customer service skills were fantastic. Her experience showed compared to previous therapists, she was top notch!
Arrived early expecting to need to change into a robe ahead of the treatment. After filling in my form I was 10 minutes early. I was asked if I’d like to go and come back later - which I said no happy to wait. Was offered to wait in the relaxation room but no robe offered so extremely hot in my normal clothes. The treatment was meant to be back, neck and shoulder which I’d booked due to tension in my back - she ended up spending a while on arms and legs which I hadn’t wanted unfortunately.
