Absolutely gutted, treated my daughter to a spa day at a cost of £230 with one treatment. Lunch to be included. We looked at the menu and thought lovely. Now I'm no rocket scientist but a massive man meal before 55mins on your stomach was ridiculous. You offered 2 women on a spa day a choice of vege curry, pie and mash or fish and chips. Steak if you want to pay an extra £14 a head. That's a WETHERSPOONS man cheap as hell option and far to heavy for a midday lunch. Zen room loud and pool filthy
My friend and I had a lovely spa day, the massages were lovely and the pool was clean and not too busy. The only disappointing factor was that the steam room was out of action and according to the members had been for quite some time. I would have liked to have been informed about this seeing as the only other facilities were a sauna room, pool and a jacuzzi with a broken filter at the bottom. The afternoon tea was good with a good variety of cakes and sandwiches and the service was brilliant.
A very relaxing experience, I was made to feel welcome. The environment was excellent, I thought the relaxation room was ideal and added to the overall experience. Very clean and very well presented
Brilliant spa day, great treatments would definitely go again
Staff were friendly and helpful, the treatments were of a high quality and the ladies completing them were very professional. The spa area was good, my only complaint was that the spa area itself is a little tired, the ceiling tiles are dirty and need replacing and there are little areas here and there that let it down. Our afternoon tea however was brilliant. The portions generous and the staff attentive without being overbearing.
