I was coming down from London to have a wax before spending the week in Bournemouth but got stuck in horrendous motorway traffic on the way down. I called the spa and they said they were fully booked around my appointment so I was worried that I would miss it entirely. The beautician managed to squeeze me in, even though I was late and didn't rush the treatment at all. She was super friendly & I was instantly put at ease after my stressful journey. The wax was very professional & I will certainly be returning in the future!
Being a member I use the swimming facilities on a regular basis but the treatment that I have had in the past is a most relaxing experience, a feeling of overwhelming warmth, pleasure and of pure luxury. I find the luxury manicure and pedicure the same pleasant experience and the quietness was welcome.
Overall experience was good, staff were excellent, lunch was excellent.
Actual spa area was small - not enough beds around pool area to relax, the spa rooms are like a rabbit warren, the ladies cloakroom had a very bad odour we were told this was a drain problem.
I would and have recommend blue water spa days as this was my second visit. Whilst I could not afford the normal price I have made use of Groupon offers. I had a wonderful time previously and put my comments on trip advisor , so expectations were high and you did not disappoint. From the moment you enter the Hotel you are looked after firstly by Hotel staff then the staff from the spa. Spa area is tranquil and not too crowded and the spa members are friendly and helpful .Treatments are superb, I had hot stones for the first time true bliss. Lunch was delicious . Big thank you to all for making my friends 70th birthday treat special and of course my day too.
