The ambience of the place was really nice and the staff were nice and made the experience comfortable and friendly. The place was clean and well kept and you could tell that the place has a good rapport with its clients :)
The reason why I have not rated it 5 stars is for the following:
I arrived approx 15 mins early for my appointment which was due to be at 4.45pm, and was told that the therapist/beautician would not be able to see me until just before 5pm. This was no problem for me and so with 25-30 mins left before my appointment, I headed out. I returned, but just under 10 mins late - which was a mistake on my part - apologies. I started my treatment 10 mins after that. The therapist was nice, but I think she was a bit annoyed that I was late - which was understandable, but when I explained that I had originally arrived early and was told the appointment would be delayed, she had told me she was ready at the time I had arrived, and wasn't sure why I had been told the appointment would be delayed. Confusion over, we got on with the treatment and she was professional and good, but the whole thing felt a little rushed as she had an oncoming appointment 50 mins later. Thus, it wasn't as thorough of a wax as it could have been I feel - but she was good! She had also misplaced her tweezers - which happens! No problem. And she didn't have time to find new ones, and work on the stubborn hairs, so I happily said I would tweeze them out myself at home. Again, no problem. I just think there just needs to be some better communication next time between the reception team and the therapists so that things can be a little more thorough.
I booked the appointment through Treatwell and the treatment was due to be 63 pounds. When it came to paying, the receptionist said that I needed to pay 3 pounds extra as a different wax had been used for my underarms to the one I had booked, and the therapist who was there mentioned she had not checked the booking beforehand. I paid the extra amount, but I feel that I shouldn't have been charged the extra amount as it was not my fault that the incorrect wax had been used and my booking should have been checked properly - especially considering they had more time to check. Once again, I think the experience could have been made better with more thoroughness all round. I also will not be late next time if the appointment is delayed!
Apart from that, it was all fine and the therapist was good and we had good conversations :)

My Brazilian wax by Tamara was by far the best I’ve ever had. I normally hate hot wax and prefer strip wax however Tamara’s technique was genuinely almost pain free. I don’t know how she managed it but she did. I would 100% recommend her and will be returning to Cove Spa again in the near future.
