Was double booked but the lady at Cove spa called me immediately to find another time I would be available. Very nice

Appalling service and terrible attitude from staff.
I booked a 1hr15min facial and massage treatment and I was told when I arrived that that first 15 minutes were spent in an infrared room, (something which is not clear from their treatment description)
We all agreed that as I am pregnant I should not go into the infrared room but that I would get a longer facial/massage instead.
The treatment finished after 1 jour and when I went to reception asking what had happened with the other 15 mins they said that it was the time in the infrared room which I couldn't go into, so I had lost them, after agreeing to give me a longer massage instead!
They tried to explain how those 15 mins were not included and therefore they had given me the correct time, all which was absolutely ridiculous and did not make sense.
I paid for 1h15mins and only got 1hr treatment and instead of being apologetic and seeing my point all I got was a defensive rude response as to why they were right and I was wrong.
I was the only customer there and they made no effort whatsoever, coming up with ridiculous reasons as to why I only got 1hr starting with the fact that I had arrived early to the fact the infrared room was not included, none of which made sense. They made me feel as if I had inconvenienced them by turning up.
I am sure if the manager or owner of the spa had been there, I would have received a completely different service.
They were quite happy letting me walk out an unhappy and stressed customer.
I do hope the owner sees this post and realises that the staff at the desk are bad for their business.
I do not intend to return to that establishment ever again

Always had great massages at The Cove Spa, must have had over 25 across 3 or 4 years. Really excellent quality and always a friendly reception. Love the place :)
