A nice spa venue, beautiful grounds, but fear it has been a bit of a victim of its success. Extremly busy, couldn't book lunch until 2.00pm so were sent to a different bar area. Food very pricey, daughter received her sandwich 10 minutes before my panini, which was then sent back twice as soggy and missing the advocado on both occassions ( not good at £9.95). Afternoon complimentary smoothies also took 20 minutes to arrive. Would go back for the spa facilities, but the staff didn't appear to be able to cope with the amount of visitors.
Absolutely bargain for what's included, would definitely go for this offer if you've not been to a spa before. Stupid how the review requires 20 words though
A lovely spa to visit for a day of relaxation....even if you decide not to have any treatments! You can choose to do studio classes, use the gym & swim. The heat & ice experience is fantastic too.
We had the 3 course lunch (£15), as it wasn't included in our package. As the sandwich option is pricie.
It was a lovely day to have some quality time with my mum.
I spent an enjoyable day, starting with a couple of classes which were excellent. The heat and ice experience is also great, I was fortunate that I went on a quiet day. My only criticism is that the pool is a bit on the small side,so you get in each others way if swimming lengths.
This is a large and beautiful spa, with plenty to do and with great decor.
There are lots of places to relax and read or snooze in a flotation bed under a cozy blanket if you don't want to spend the entire day in the numerous sauna and steam rooms.
There are lovely little extras around the venue such as bowls of fruit, and water or herbal tea.
