Booked an overnight spa break for me and 3 friends - the spa day had clearly been over-booked - we had to change in the normal pool facilities changing room (rather than the spa changing room), we had issues with the locker "keys" and didn't have the situation and locations explained to us properly - we only discovered the spa facilities at the very end of the day - extremely disappointing. Lunch buffet was also extremely poorly labelled for a vegetarian (hot dishes were labelled but not the salads etc - and some of the salads had meat in), and they ran out of the hot food.
That said, when I complained to the hotel, the manager (although keeping me waiting an annoyingly long time!) was lovely and made up for the issues by seeming to genuinely care and providing a bottle of prosecco at dinner as an apology. Dinner was lovely as well - lovely food.
So, a bit mixed, could do better, but they at least made up for the issues
Great experiences we'll worth the visit, great massage, spa and friendly staff. Would go again. Pleasurable and relaxing break with great ambiance
Really lovely place , the only disadvantage was it was a lovely day and the only place you cold sit outside was at the front of the hotel ! Not so nice in tour dressing gown .
Worth a visit. Excellent day. Staff professional and welcoming and treatments lovely. Food was well presented and lovely. Highly recommended
Good value for money. Although a little busy in heat & ice area.
Had brilliant Reflexology treatment, but disappointed with Indian head massage.
Been here before and always enjoy, doesn't disappoint:)
