The Spa experience was spoiled in the main by the restaurant and bar tenders. When we arrived we wanted a coffee before starting the spa experience, we asked if that would be possible, the girl said she would call a bar tender but it took twenty minutes to get anyone to take the order, which was disappointing as we had to chase up twice. Lunch we ordered large glasses of wine as it was my birthday and I wanted to make it special. The wine came but actually we were given short measures and after complaining only charged for a small not a large glass. I believe it is actually an offence to serve short measures ! then we ordered coffee again later and the same issues arrives, very long wait chase up twice. It is such a shame as the spa part of the day was fantastic, the place is great and the therapists are lovely
Second visit and it didn't disappoint! The food was not as good as the first time and we had a voucher for a free cream tea which we were told we could not redeem as we had not booked via hotel this was disappointing considering we were second time visitors. Room was lovely however the beds were very uncomfortable. The treatment was lovely and the spa facilities were great.
Staff were really helpful. Waitress made our anniversary dinner at Aston restaurant special.
Enjoyed the spa facilities ver much. Excellent gym, had a good work out.
Excellent value for money! Meals and service are of an outstanding quality. Very friendly and helpful staff. Would have loved it even more if massages were for longer.
