I'm usually really anxious about getting a perm somewhere else than my usual salon but Aurora did a fantastic job. I'd totally recommend The Ginger Group.

This is the first time I am doing a review of something online. If you visit this salon, make sure you know who is doing your hair. If you pay 168 pounds for a colouring (+cutting) service you expect to get a good result and to maintain your hair healthy, right?. Before visiting the salon I had my natural dark brunette hair on the roots melted with dark blonde on the tips (mid back length). I asked for a balayage retouch with a lighter blonde shade and had my entire hair bleached (yellow) by an extremely incompetent member of staff. Pamela Anderson yellow (but with uneven and random colour finish) from roots (they were dark brown, sorry for repeating, but I want to emphasise it) to tips. The person who ruined my hair kept maintaining that my hair looked good and that that was what I asked for. So unprofessional!! Next day, luckily, an extremely professional stylist (Didi) corrected the colour and gave me a great haircut free of charge. However, my hair is anything but healthy now due to the pointless bleaching. I will also need to retouch my hair frequently as the dark colour fades and the bleached hair colour comes again. Anyway, lesson learned.

Sarah was brilliant and really made me feel at ease with new colour and cut. I would definitely go back but not quite sure how the price was worked out... I had prepaid on Treatwell for full head but only needed half head yet was charged extra for toner? £210 for half head highlights, toner, cut and blow dry seems excessive. But I was very happy with my new hair do.
