I booked the appointment only a few hours before and was pleasantly surprised with the venue and the friendly staff. I paid for a simple haircut and my hairdresser Amir was very talented and professionally trimmed my hair. I am very pleased with the result!
Going from my experience yesterday, I can't give The Ginger Group salon a good rating as I have to be honest with what I experienced and felt as a paying customer.
I booked in for a fiberplex (hair repair) treatment AT 09:00AM (the time plays a part in this review so bare with me until the end to find out why).
The hairdresser turned up late, and I was under the impression he had a heavy weekend as he came in with his head in the clouds. Anyway, he asked if I had the treatment before and I said no. Although he knew I had not had the treatment before he didn't take care to explain the steps/process throughout the treatment however, he didn't.
Although I had not had the treatment before I had watched it being done a number of times so I know the steps that should have been taken and the process however it was not, in anyway done correctly.
So if the above isn't a unpleasant experience enough alone the hairdresser didn't complete my treatment until 10:45am so instead of 30minuets it took an hour and 35mins - for a hair repair and rough blow-dry. He was all over the place and honestly so out of it.
Just to top everything off, when I got home and put my hair up ready to go to work it was greasy and heavy, he didn't wash all the product out. 1hour and 45minuets later and I walk out of that salon with greasy hair, so I have no choice to match my poor experience from this place with a poor rating.

I am very happy with my nee colour and haircut! Aurora and Amir advised me on the new colour and I really like the final result. Amir was very patient with my hair (I have thick wavy hair, with a lot of valume) and he did a great both on colouring and haircut! I will definitely go back. The only downside of my experience was the temperature in the salon (the heating was not working and sitting on a chair for few hours in the cold was not very pleasant). But the staff was very kind and offering hot tea or coffee.
